Hey Bestie! Today we’re going to talk about how to stop wasting time.
Time moves like lightening speed. I’m sure you remember being a kid, young adult, or teenager as if it were yesterday. You may look at your own kid like “Wow, I feel like I just had you and now you’re all grown up”.
Time. It’s literally the only currency that matters. So how about we learn how to spend it wisely together.
This post will be all about how to stop wasting time.
Are you ready? Let’s geaux!
Why Is Timing Important
Have you ever heard the saying “perfect timing”?
Timing is defined as a particular point or period of time when something happens. Ecclesiastes 3:1 says it this way: “There is a time for everything and a season for every activity under Heaven”.
Timing is important because everything and everyone was made on purpose, with purpose, for a purpose. One translation even says “there’s a time to every purpose under Heaven”.
The purpose for a thing is the reason why it was created. Notice how over the years things have shifted in terms of technology.
Apple, for example, doesn’t drop new phones as they make them.
The company has the phones lined up for each season or year that they would like to drop. Think about your life and the different events that occur in your life.
You can even begin to think about how you ask God something and how he answers you later. It’s all because of timing.
Time itself was created for the earth realm so that we can understand and grow in our godly image.
Just in case you don’t know daughter/son, you are created on purpose, with purpose, for a purpose. Where you started is not where you’ll finish. It is your job to seek God about your purpose so that you can partner with him and become all that you are in the proper timing. Don’t settle for what life has presented you! You’re destined for more!
Timing Is Everything Meaning
The phrase timing is everything means that God has made everything beautiful for it’s own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so people cannot see the whole scope of God’s work from beginning to end (Ecclesiastes 3:11).
From conception to death, there is a journey that you get to grow through that is intended to be beautiful.
God says that before you were in your mother’s womb, he knew you and he consecrated you to be a prophet of the nations (Jeremiah 1:5). This can sound really religious, but all a prophet is in the simplest terms is someone who tells of what’s to come.
A prophet is like a messenger who hears from God and displays his ideas in the earthly realm. This isn’t limited to just speaking. It can be through songs, ideas, art, and many other forms that humans can relay a message.
God’s purpose for humanity as a whole is to make the earth look just like Heaven by learning and living as citizens of Heaven.
It’s quite practical. Heaven is the main country while Earth is the territory that Heaven is impacting.
Timing is everything because you’re in time as God’s expression with a unique purpose for your existence.
I don’t know how you feel in this moment, but I must tell you Bestie that you matter. You’re NOT forgotten. You may look at the world and see things that need to change and think there’s nothing you can do, but that’s a lie. You are important and you can make change happen. It first starts within you. You must gain knowledge of your true self, where you’re from, and why you’re here on earth. Luckily for you, it’s all within your Bestie Forever! Once you begin to work on yourself, the domino effect of change begins!
The Famous Time Is Money Metaphor
This figure of speech would really have you tripping without the proper context. You see, the world pushes this agenda:
“Get money by any means”. But this puts you in the mindset of survival. You weren’t sent into this world to survive, you were sent here to impact the world.
Bestie, why did you allow them to colonize you? You are different and you’ve always known this since you were a child.
Time is only money if you’re looking at it as a currency. For example, what are you “spending” you time on?
Are you focusing on what your purpose is? Or are you hustling trying to get money?
Are you getting to know who you are? Or are you too busy studying everyone else so that you can come up or have something to talk about?
What profits a man to gain the world, but love his soul(Mark 8:36)?
We literally see the same things over and over and over again:
- Rich/wealthy person with no friends-dies alone or commits suicide.
- Family in poverty-young man/women gets into drug game, comes up for a while, buys material things, cleans the money, all to get caught and thrown into prison.
- College student-Broke, starts scamming and ends up in prison.
- Working “class” men/women-Kisses up to the boss, tries to play the system for themselves and those they like, but tells on everyone else to ensure their job security.
- Youtuber-Fake pranks, tainted relationships, explicit content just for views to get money.
- Hollywood-Partnering with the government to keep people enslaved mentally and on puppet strings.
- Medical/pharmaceutical system-Keeping people sick, putting poison in vaccines, and pushing fear to ensure their return.
- Educational system-A business that teaches lies to employ instead of deploy.
When does it end? It ends when we stop being ignorant!
Time isn’t meant to be used to make money. Don’t you understand that money is paper and numbers plugged into the computer?
The coins and bills value is decreasing daily. Haven’t you noticed that the world is slowly transitioning to card and cardless payment methods?
Besties from around the world, God knew you’d need things when he sent you here. Who you are is much more important than your needs.
You are gods, kings and sons of the Most High. When will you believe that?
How To Stop Wasting Time
I’m gonna give you 3 ways to stop wasting time and we’ll wrap up this post. Ready?
1. Start Seeking The Kingdom And His Righteousness
Set a time everyday for 10 min to get in God’s word. Pray and ask for him to reveal the Kingdom and righteousness to you.
This is the priority of man according to Jesus. While we worry about getting money, going on trips, buying the same foods we end up wasting, and paying bills; He says “I got you just get in the Kingdom and learn (Matthew 6:33)”.
2. Start Learning About God
If someone were to ask you to describe God’s character, would you have something to say besides the common things? Getting to know God is a beautiful thing even if its you letting him know that you’re angry with him.
It’s the relationship that develops into a partnership with him so that you can do what you’re destined to do. You won’t know yourself or your purpose without getting to know him.
Remember you were created in his image after his likeness. You are his junior.
3. Start Learning About Yourself
Yes, it cool to know what you like and dislike, but you also have some things to work through. You need to face your current self in order to become who you really are.
Then you need to begin to understand what you are as a human. You’re a creation first. You are a trinity just like God. You’re spirit, soul, and body in that order.
Get to know the many layers and facets of your being.
Vanessa, you’re gonna read this and I pray right now in Jesus name that the eyes and ears of your understanding are opened to see God’s glory. Bestie you are God’s glory and right now I command that stronghold to be released up off of you. Let the scales be removed from your eyes and let depression cease.
Vanessa you are not what happened to you nor what you think of yourself. You are loved. God loves you more than you know!
Besties…I love all of you.
This post was all about how to stop wasting time.
Remember you’re destined to win because He got up!
