The Journey To The Returning To Eden Fast| 2025 Fasting Recap

Hey Bestie! This year we had our first corporate fast called Returning To Eden and I wanna tell you all about it.

Fasting and praying is quite regular for me plus I love fruit. Anyone who knows me or has been around me knows that I LOVE fruit!

But I would have never thought to incorporate fruit fasting into Blissful-Faith. Honestly, I never even thought about doing a corporate fast, but God did!

Today I am going to take you back in time to see the steps that led up to our 2025 Returning To Eden corporate fruit fast.

Are you ready? Let’s geaux!

How It Started

It all started with someone pointing out something on a cereal box on Facebook. I began talking about it with God and I made this video.

A couple days later I went into a store and it was like I became a food forensic investigator for the Kingdom of God.

I noticed how the FDA and the scientists were using propaganda with cereals, jellies, candy, juice, and many others items.

I had to say something because God’s original diet for us is fruit and it seemed as though they realized that so they used it as a ploy for destruction.

Prophetic Word

After filming a couple videos, God led me to release a prophetic word to His people:

After the prophetic word was released, God said “It’s time to host Blissful-Faith’s first corporate fruit fast. It’s time that my children return to Eden”.

The way we return to God is through prayer and fasting and the reason we did fruit is because fruit is the original food of mankind (Genesis 1:29 NIV).

Returning to Eden in every way is the ultimate goal because Eden is the place of dependency and intimacy with God.

Also, I realize that there are many people who struggle with emotional eating just as I did and fasting is definitely a way to break that stronghold.

The Returning To Eden Fast

From August 21st-August 24th, me and ten beautiful souls set out to return to Eden. I believe that many more were fasting individually because God called some people to privately participate.

This fast was a beginner friendly fast specifically designed for beginners and those who needed a spiritual and physical reset.

Each day we had a word and a scripture to do the SOAP Bible Study Method. For this fast, Psalm three was the chapter that we were focused on.

What was interesting is that I didn’t have any fruit and I also had no way to get any, but God arranged for someone to send me the resources to get fruit and during the fast He used another person to get me more.

Even after the fast, I had fruit left over which is an amazing mini miracle!

Day One

returning to Eden 2025 day one

Day one’s word was repent.

Repenting is all about turning back to God. I used an example of someone in a grocery store on the wrong aisle.

If you were on aisle five, but you needed to be on aisle four, all you would do in that case is turn around and go to the correct aisle.

Repenting is very similar and dare I say even simpler. Day one is when I created my Strawberry Peach Sorbet.

Check out the recipe video HERE.

Day Two

Our word of the day was restore.

This day was all about God’s restoration and what He wants to restore in our lives and the lives of others.

On day two, I had some strawberries, peaches, and nectarines.

This was the day that I was tested the most because I visited my family’s homestead and of course they had all the good smelling food.

But I was determined to finish the fast!

Here is access to the guide we used in case you want to do a fast of your own: Get It HERE

Day 3

Our word was reflect.

This was our final day so it was time to reflect on all God had done.

It was important for us to reflect on what God had done within the fast, but also in our lives because honestly He is good to us all the time!

On day three, I got to share my Acai Berry Smoothie Bowl recipe. Check it out HERE.

Final Thoughts

Overall, the fast was great, not only for myself, but for many others. A few people commented that they enjoyed the fast and others were able to share a few of their struggles within the fast.

Fasting always comes with beauty as well as pain. When you push away earthly pleasures for a spiritual purpose, the flesh will react!

You will start to notice what you’re losing instead of gaining, but that’s when God helps you to refocus.

The Returning To Eden Fast will most likely be an annual fast so if anyone would like to join next time, feel free!

My hopes are that God will allow us to have a fasting retreat one day with all you can eat fruit plus speakers for each day.

I’m so happy that God placed this idea on my heart for the month of August. I look forward to all the future fasting opportunities that Blissful-Faith will host and be a part of. I’m also happy that many people decided to return to Eden and that God got the glory through it all. If you were a part of the fast or want to join next time, comment down below! I would love to hear from you.

This post was all about the 2025 Returning To Eden Fruit fast.
