Are you looking for ways to romanticize your life?

The term “romanticize your life” has taken social media by the storm. Romanticizing your life gives you permission to add a little flavor to the mundane.
It’s learning to appreciate the little blessings while becoming more attentive to God and self.
What will you think of your life once you begin to romanticize it?
This post is all about ways to romanticize your life.
Are you ready? Let’s geaux!
What Does It Mean To Romanticize Your Life
Matthew 18:2-4 NIV-He called a little child to him, and placed the child among them. And he said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
Romanticizing your life is like hugging your inner child. Do you remember when you were little?
You had a natural excitement and interest in what life had to offer.
If mommy was washing dishes, you wanted to help. When daddy was cooking, you wanted to be included.
Even when your teacher called for a helper, you were down for the job.
Romanticizing your life is all about getting your excitement back for life.
When you were a child, you didn’t look for huge wins. In fact, you didn’t look for any wins; you just lived in the moment.
What you used to do is take the ordinary and make it extraordinary through the power of your imagination.
Why did you grow up Bestie? You were never designed to grow up, but you were created to grow old.
Romanticizing your life is getting back to the original mind and position. You are a CHILD of God and that is what you’ll forever be in His sight.
Why not return to your rightful position?

Romanticizing Being Alone
Being alone doesn’t mean that you’re lonely. It’s completely normal to desire to spend time alone, in fact, it’s very healthy!
When you’re always around others, it can make it harder to hear from God and understand yourself as an individual.
Think about it: If you’re always sharing ideas with others, when do you have time to think of your own?
Being alone with God is man’s base nature. God created one man from the soil.
He walked and talked with him in the garden of Eden before He called forth a helper for him.
This entire concept is usually spoken about in regards to a romantic relationship. But it applies to all types of relationships.
You can’t have “relationship goals” without first having a relationship with God and yourself.
It’s God’s divine order and the best way to live.

Why Is It Important To Romanticize Your Life
Psalm 115:16 NIV-The highest heavens belong to the Lord, but the Earth He gave to the children of man.
What do you think about love? Do you enjoy love? If you’re a human being then the answer is yes because you were created by Love Himself.
God is love and you were created in His image after His likeness (Genesis 1:26 NIV).
To be created in God’s image means that you were created with His nature. God’s nature is to love.
You also have the ability to love, but the catch is that you have to receive it from God first.
One of the key components of romanticizing your life is loving God, yourself, and learning to love the life you’re leading.
You may have been through some turmoil, but look on the brighter side because you’re still here!
God isn’t done with you.
You have many reasons to live and it’s okay to start again.
You need to romanticize your life simply because of who and what you are.
You’re a human being that was created in the image of God after His likeness.
He designed you to have dominion over:
- Fish of the seas
- Birds of the air
- The livestock
- All of the earth
- and everything that crawls on the Earth

5 Ways to Romanticize Your Life Spiritually
You are exactly like God. He is a Trinity and so are you. God is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
You are a spirit, with a soul, inside of a body.
Because you are a trinity; you have to take care of all three components of yourself.
Today I want to give you ways to romanticize your spiritual life.
1. Break Free From The Systems Of This World
John 3:16 KJV-For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
God knew that the systems of this world were corrupt so He sent His Son for those in it. You don’t have to follow the ways of the world anymore.
Jesus died and rose so that you could be set free from the systems. He came to bring His government back to Earth (Isaiah 9:6 ESV).
This is why He tells you to seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness. He then promises that everything else you need and want will be added to you (Matthew 6:33 ESV).
The Kingdom is not a religion called Christianity; it is the government that Jesus came to restore.
If you want to live a life of abundance, you have to get under God’s government.
You do this by partnering with God and following His Word.
2. Understand Who You Are Holistically
Genesis 1:26 ESV-Then God said “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth”.
When you’re beginning to romanticize your life, it’s very important that you learn the complexity of your being.
Again, you are a spirit, with a soul, inside of a body.
Your body is like a “tent”. It’s your temporary residence to navigate the Earthly realm.
Most people never get to this revelation so they miss out on being able to nourish their entire being.
But not you, because you are understanding who you are holistically.

3. Realize That You Were Chosen To Be Here
Matthew 22:14 KJV-For many are called, but few are chosen.
According to science, there are at least three hundred million sperm released during ejaculation, but only one can fertilize the egg.
It’s not a coincidence that you’re here.
God predestined you to arrive to the Earth for a specific purpose.
You matter and you need to start living like you know it, even when you don’t feel it!

4. Choose The Spirit, Choose Freedom
Romans 8:14 NIV-For those who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God.
God has a standard for your life and He wants to help you to walk in it.
Choosing the Spirit means that you listen intently for what He tells you to do and obey.
It’s understanding that obedience is God’s love language and one of the only things you can give back to Him.
So If He told you to stop eating certain things, obey Him.
If He told you to break up with your boyfriend of eight years, trust that He will take care of you.
You don’t have to worry when you choose the Spirit because you’re choosing to live according to the original mind.

5. Realize You’re Not Normal
1 Peter 2:9 NASB-But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.
Your life may seem normal, but trust me it’s not. There’s always been something very different about you.
It may seem like everyone around you is having so much fun and that your life is boring. And you may not have many people to talk to in this season.
I want you to know that if suicidal thoughts are ringing in your ear, you have many reasons to live.
Don’t let those intrusive thoughts make you give up your life before it truly begins.
You’ve gone through too much for you not to see the latter. God has set it up to where He is going to save your entire bloodline through you.
You’re the one who is going to turn a generation towards Christ and that’s why the attack on your life has been so heavy.
Let me remind you that the same one we call Lord and Savior was born in a manger . He was also on the run at the beginning of His life.
Jesus endured the cross despite of its shame because He saw your need and decided to stay there.
The King was born in a manger, on the run for His life, and died a gruesome death for you to realize whose you are and who you are.
There’s nothing about you that’s normal because of who you belong to.
Remember you don’t have a spirit, you are a spirit. I hope and pray that this post was able to help you in any way.
